Role Description
We are seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, and Product to enhance the Mailchimp platform's positioning and messaging. This role involves partnering with our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to craft compelling narratives that drive acquisition and platform adoption across various channels, including Marketing, Sales, and partner channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in uncovering insights that inform impactful GTM strategies.
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in product marketing: 10+ years, especially in messaging strategy development and cross-functional execution.
- Proven leadership skills: Ability to lead and influence teams and drive consensus.
- Strong analytical skills: Proficient in market research, data analysis, and deriving insights.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Deep understanding of SaaS and marketing technology trends and challenges.
- Customer-centric mindset: Committed to understanding and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
How you will lead
- Identify and refine customer profiles and personas through collaboration with Research, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams.
- Lead platform-level research, develop differentiated messaging strategies, and test and optimize messages based on empirical insights.
- Gather social proof such as claims, customer quotes, case studies, and accolades to support messaging strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance for GTM efforts across channels to drive new customer acquisition and platform adoption.
- Assess campaign effectiveness, extract learnings, and refine messaging for ongoing optimization.
Compensation & Benefits
Intuit offers a competitive package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. The expected base pay range in Bay Area, California, is $197,000 - $266,500, with eligibility for bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location, with ongoing pay equity measures.
