Job Description
Padlet is building software for good education. Our software enables visual content creation and collaboration in classrooms worldwide, inspiring curiosity, creativity, and community.
We are seeking an exceptional Events Manager to promote Padlet's mission to our education users. This is an in-person role based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for over 20 in-person conferences annually, including travel, accommodations, and registration.
- Manage vendors, internet setup, booth materials, furniture rentals, swag, and printed collateral.
- Oversee onsite setup and teardown of conference booths, with support from local staff or contractors.
- Organize related meetings and events such as school visits, product demos, and customer meetups.
- Recruit and coordinate with local partners including translators, resellers, and superfans.
- Execute attendee outreach before and after events via email and marketing.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual events like webinars and workshops, including scheduling and follow-up.
- Collaborate with nonprofit partners and educators for virtual sessions and international expansion.
- Maintain detailed documentation to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience planning and executing in-person and virtual events in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage complex logistics and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with external partners.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work onsite at events.
- Proficiency with event management tools, email outreach, and content coordination.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently, adapt, and troubleshoot.
- Bonus: Multilingual skills or experience supporting international logistics.
