Position Profile
Weaver seeks talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager level to join our expanding team. Our clients include a range of tax-exempt and non-profit organizations across various industries such as healthcare, education, and community outreach, from large national to smaller local entities.
A Tax Senior Manager collaborates closely with firm leadership, contributing to business development and team growth. The ideal candidate is a CPA with over 7 years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting at a public accounting firm, focusing on tax-exempt entities and Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-T.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting, focusing on tax-exempt and non-profit entities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand existing relationships
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this role in select states is $141,000 to $290,000, with actual pay based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), flexible time off, sick and safe leave, holidays, and recharge days. We also provide internal CPE and leadership development programs, including WeaverLEAD, a coaching initiative to foster leadership growth at all levels.
