Position: Revenue Cycle Operations Director
The Revenue Cycle Operations Director oversees a portfolio of Service Center clients, ensuring smooth daily operations, contractual compliance, and revenue cycle performance. Key functions include Client Relationship Management, Business Analytics, Resource Management, Culture, Staff Engagement, Training, and Solution Development.
This leader guides the operations management team to execute core activities related to sustained revenue cycle performance. The role involves understanding daily operational needs of existing client engagements and planning for future opportunities, working directly with HMS Senior Leadership to deliver both internal and client-facing solutions.
Key Job Duties:
- Execute Service Center objectives, responsibilities, and initiatives.
- Make independent operational decisions and prioritize projects effectively.
- Establish quarterly goals and collaborate with the HMS Service Center Leadership Team to achieve them.
- Analyze, interpret, and summarize revenue cycle data, monitoring performance against KPIs.
- Identify issues, risks, barriers, and opportunities for improvement in service responsibilities, SLAs, technology, and personnel.
- Manage a team of RC Operations Managers and clients, providing direction and removing barriers.
- Coach, develop, and mentor direct reports and team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international stakeholders.

Core Qualifications:
- Current U.S. work authorization
- Bachelor's degree required
- Limited travel required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Direct supervisory experience
- 7+ years of healthcare operations experience, including 5+ in managerial roles
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment. It requires sitting at a desk for extended periods, repetitive keyboard and mouse use, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, with bending and standing as needed.
Additional Information:
The estimated salary range is $130,000–$170,000, reflecting a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, market, and travel requirements. The role is eligible for Huron’s incentive program and benefits, including health coverage and wellness programs.
