Senior Federal and Climate Adaptation Project Manager

About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a technically proficient engineer with at least 10 years of experience to lead federal projects related to climate adaptation. This hybrid role is based in our San Francisco, California office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead federal accounts and project teams in planning and designing measures to address climate change risks, including coastal, transit, drainage, sewer, utility systems, emergency facilities, buildings, and public spaces.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams ensuring technical quality across all project phases.
- Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining regular communication and knowledge sharing.
- Establish and meet project schedules, budgets, and quality objectives.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or similar federal projects.
- Engineering degree in relevant fields.
- Current California PE License.
- Minimum 10 years of related experience.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in coastal engineering, urban drainage, seismic structural engineering, or related disciplines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with remote teams and digital tools are essential.
