What You’ll Do

The Senior Director of Operations – Clinical Data Abstraction will oversee a large-scale team responsible for converting unstructured clinical data into structured data. You will focus on operational efficiency, strategy execution, and cross-functional collaboration, with accountability for performance management and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead a team of 100+ employees, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage change initiatives to improve operational readiness and efficiency.
• Mentor a high-performing, data-driven operations team.
• Establish KPIs to drive effectiveness and excellence.
• Develop and coach managers across organizational levels.

Strategy, Planning, And Process Optimization

• Manage planning cycles, vendor negotiations, and resource allocation.
• Implement AI-based processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Develop growth frameworks and oversee performance and compensation cycles.
• Enhance data process efficiency using data-driven insights.
• Partner with leadership to define and track KPIs and metrics.
• Identify and implement process improvements for productivity.
• Understand and guide data infrastructure and reporting tools like data warehouses and Looker.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Align operational strategies with business objectives through partnership with leadership.
• Support internal teams with curated data to meet operational goals.
• Assist in compensation planning and incentive programs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve tools and data quality.

Salary Range

• New York: $170,000 - $210,000 USD
• Illinois: $150,000 - $190,000 USD
