The Alexa Customer Journeys team seeks a Senior Product Manager - Technical to drive impact across tech, science, design, and engagement challenges in scaling Generative AI use cases. The role requires technical depth and industry best practices.

Our team focuses on providing personalized, proactive assistance to Alexa customers, building experiences and systems across hardware and software. We operate across Seattle, Bellevue, Irvine, and Santa Monica.

Key job responsibilities

• Define clear vision, strategy, and requirements for customer scenarios.
• Develop mechanisms to ensure high quality at speed and scale.
• Represent customer voice through research and map to needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, science, and UX/design teams to advance technology.
• Drive product adoption, engagement, and experimentation.
• Partner across Amazon to enhance proactive experiences.

Day in the life

Address ambiguity, deliver requirements, and work closely with science, engineering, and UX teams to create personalized customer experiences. You own the customer experience, with satisfaction as the success metric. Engage daily with teams and update leadership weekly. Success requires clarity, scrappiness, and high velocity in a high-ambiguity space.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years in product, program management, marketing, business development, or tech.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs.
• Roadmap strategy and definition experience.
• End-to-end product delivery experience.
• Technical discussions and decision-making experience.
• Managing technical products or online services.
• Advocacy for critical customers and stakeholders at executive level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analytical tools like Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight.
• Experience building and promoting new tools.
