Position Title
General Manager
Job Responsibilities
The General Manager will ensure that members receive the highest quality of service and facilities, as well as lead, motivate, and manage their team. This role will exhibit an ability to achieve the financial targets for the club as outlined in the annual budget by motivating, leading, supervising, and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in servicing our members’ needs.

Experience Requirements
- 4-year college degree preferred or related business experience.
- 3-5+ years management experience required.

Professional Responsibilities
Operations
- Coordinate and work within club support functions of Fitness, Sales, Marketing, Accounting, Information Technology.
- Resolve member complaints efficiently and tactfully following club procedures.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure the club meets brand standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security.
- Ensure maintenance issues are promptly repaired and signage is posted.
- Track completion of checklists and logs.
- Manage payroll and expenses to meet financial goals.
- Stay informed about competitors.
- Perform brand excellence reviews.
- Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees.
Personal Training
- Achieve personal training revenue, set, show, and close sessions, and meet session burn goals.
- Integrate Personal Training services into sales presentations.
- Oversee PT manager to ensure departmental objectives are met.
Sales
- Achieve revenue goals in Membership, Training, Retail & Merchandising.
- Monitor check-ins to increase revenue and reduce collections.
- Prospect and generate new members.
- Ensure staff knowledge about programs and facilities.
- Hold regular training meetings.
- Increase revenue per member.
Compensation
- Salary and commissions/bonuses based on business drivers like EFT, Shop Score, Delinquency Collection, etc.
