Temp Marketing Director/Manager (Miami)

An innovative footwear company centered around dance is seeking a temp Marketing Director/Manager to join their team in a part-time, hybrid capacity . The role involves working 10-12 hours per week and supporting initiatives such as their upcoming celebrity launch, social media, content strategy and execution, creative development, and influencer collaborations.

Start date: ASAP - ongoing (no specified end date)

Location: Ideally Miami-based, with occasional in-office visits

Hours: 10-15 hours/week

Responsibilities:

• Developing annual marketing strategies and plans
• Creating and executing promotional campaigns
• Managing marketing budget
• Overseeing marketing team members responsible for various segments (content, SEO, advertising, email, branding, PR, social media)
• Project management
• Ensuring compliance with marketing laws and regulations (e.g., SPAM, GDPR, customer privacy)
• Leading marketing initiatives with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Developing engaging and informative content
• Strategic thinking to reach consumers and grow the business
• Staying current with market trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Communications, or related field
• Proven success in marketing plans and campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities
• Creative, metrics-driven marketing mindset
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
• Understanding of copy, art, design, and graphics integration
• Knowledge of current digital marketing and fashion trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and internet applications
• Experience with email marketing platforms like Iterable is preferred
