Director of Annual Giving
Maret School is seeking a Director of Annual Giving to lead its Annual Fund, a key component of the school's development program that encourages broad community participation, leadership giving, and volunteer involvement.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, highly organized, deadline-driven, collaborative, goal-oriented, creative, and eager to engage with a participatory volunteer community. Responsibilities include supporting community events, participating in faculty meetings and trainings, and managing various initiatives. A bachelor's degree and at least five years of successful fundraising and volunteer management experience are required. Experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge is a plus. This full-time, 12-month, in-office role reports directly to the Director of Development.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and executing a strategic, segmented annual giving program to increase participation across all constituent groups.
- Leading the Annual Giving team and collaborating with other development staff.
- Managing volunteer committees, including those for current parents, alumni parents, grandparents, and faculty.
- Managing foundation relationships and grants.
- Overseeing donor acknowledgment, stewardship, and recognition.
- Utilizing social media and technology in campaigns.
- Creating communication materials aligned with school goals and managing outreach efforts.
- Organizing meetings, events, and activities related to the Annual Fund.
- Coordinating prospect plans with the Associate Director of Development.
- Supporting new initiatives and projects as assigned.
- Working with data to produce reports and analyze giving trends.
- Developing and managing processes for annual giving.
- Partnering with the team on communications and events.
- Being an active member of the Maret community.
