Job Summary: The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO) supports the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in overseeing the financial strategy, operations, and reporting of the organization. This senior-level role provides leadership in key areas such as financial planning, treasury, internal controls, and compliance. The Deputy CFO partners across departments to ensure accurate reporting, drive financial performance, and support business decisions with actionable insights. This is a strategic, hands-on role ideal for a financial leader who thrives in a high-growth, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities:
Support the CFO in developing and executing financial strategies that align with business goals
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across all brands and entities
Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and treasury operations
Ensure strong internal controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Partner with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
Manage and mentor finance team members, driving performance, development, and accountability
Support audits, tax planning, and coordination with external accounting firms
Serve as a strategic advisor and stand-in for the CFO when needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles
Experience in a multi-entity, high-volume, or franchised environment preferred
Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and analysis skills
Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in managing sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems such as UKG and ADP is a plus
