Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
EnFin is a financial services company that provides financing for residential solar PV and energy efficiency upgrades, backed by the PV panel manufacturer, Qcells. EnFin is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to work with various departments to investigate complaints, identify root causes, and implement solutions to ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly. Additionally, the Analyst will assist with efforts to enhance procedures and correct procedural or policy deficiencies. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail, and problem solving and communication skills.
This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with an in-office schedule that is set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of complaints, identifying root causes, and assessing adherence to regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, including recommendations for improvement in complaint handling, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified issues in complaint resolution processes.
- Work collaboratively with Compliance leadership to ensure the effective implementation of corrective actions.
- Promote a culture of fair lending practices and ethical complaint resolution within the organization.
- Liaise with relevant departments (e.g., Customer Service, Legal, etc.) to ensure information sharing and coordinated efforts in addressing customer complaints.
- Monitor and analyze complaint data to identify emerging trends and potential risks.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks to support the Compliance team
- Ensure all complaints are approved for closure in a timely manner and adhere to the regulatory requirements
- Support the audit, monitoring and testing function, including document and response preparation.
- Ensure the Complaint Report is provided to the third-party lender timely
- Ensure each complaint related to fraud has been referred to BSA.
- Support the design, maintenance, and organization of compliance reporting libraries, shared drives and documentation repositories.
- Assist with coaching, training, and mentorship of team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or another related field with minimum of 4-5+ years of experience working within lending institutions, including but not limited to Fintech, solar financing, B2B lending, point-of-sale financing, or Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) environments and experience working with CRM software.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of financial protection laws and regulations, as well as industry best practices associated with consumer lending and servicing is a bonus.
- Strong interest in and understanding of the clean energy financing industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong skills in analytical thinking, priority-driven execution, and team collaboration.
- Experience with CRM software, specifically Salesforce.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
