Job Description
Our tax managers handle a variety of tax returns including individual, estate, trust, corporate, and partnership returns for federal, state, and local jurisdictions across various industries. We value subject matter experts interested in focusing on their chosen areas. Managers review staff accountant work, participate in training, and require thorough knowledge of tax in a public accounting setting.
They serve as lead providers of proactive tax planning, compliance, review, and research services for diverse clients. Responsibilities include managing or supervising all phases of client engagements, primary client contact, and leading larger projects. Managers may deliver presentations, write articles, and provide leadership, supervision, training, and feedback to staff and senior accountants.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of recent public accounting experience.
- Excellent organizational, client service, and communication skills.
- CPA license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation or Accountancy preferred.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, family, and closely held businesses is preferred.
