Position Overview:
Parsons is seeking a PMO Director to lead and ensure the success of the FAA/DOT/Administration’s new Air Traffic Control System as the Systems Integrator.
Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with approximately 75% travel to the NCR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a robust PMO with support functions to ensure program success.
- Create efficient, repeatable processes applicable across all programs.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders.
- Manage program risks and develop comprehensive risk-management processes.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of program objectives, contract terms, and policies.
- Ensure the PMO team establishes templates for all CDRLs, events, and partner communications to maintain high quality and consistent messaging.
- Mobilize resources to create effective project teams.
- Work with managers and technical teams to develop budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting cost or schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or relevant experience.
- Exceptional leadership, mentoring, communication, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
- 25+ years of proven experience in program and project management, including leading a PMO.
- Experience managing large, complex programs or PMOs (multi-billion scope).
- Business development or capture management experience.
Desired Skills:
- Recent experience supporting FAA or other aviation agencies globally.
