Position Overview:

Parsons is seeking a PMO Director to lead and ensure the success of the FAA/DOT/Administration’s new Air Traffic Control System as the Systems Integrator.

Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with approximately 75% travel to the NCR.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish a robust PMO with support functions to ensure program success.
2. Create efficient, repeatable processes applicable across all programs.
3. Collaborate with government stakeholders.
4. Manage program risks and develop comprehensive risk-management processes.
5. Develop in-depth knowledge of program objectives, contract terms, and policies.
6. Ensure the PMO team establishes templates for all CDRLs, events, and partner communications to maintain high quality and consistent messaging.
7. Mobilize resources to create effective project teams.
8. Work with managers and technical teams to develop budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
9. Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting cost or schedule.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or relevant experience.
• Exceptional leadership, mentoring, communication, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
• 25+ years of proven experience in program and project management, including leading a PMO.
• Experience managing large, complex programs or PMOs (multi-billion scope).
• Business development or capture management experience.

Desired Skills:

• Recent experience supporting FAA or other aviation agencies globally.
