What We're Looking For
The AVP, Strategic Partnerships will be a motivated self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment to manage new Enterprise accounts and build upon our existing client partnerships. They will hit the ground running on high-impact partnerships with exposure to various teams across Cross River. They will be asked to wear many hats and quickly learn our business, ecosystems and clients. Relationship and decision-making skills will be put to the test; and they will need to handle vague and nuanced situations. They will be our front line to our Fintech clients and need to be able to quickly build trust.
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact for a select group of our Fintech Banking clients.
- Own retention and growth KPIs by identifying organic and inorganic growth patterns.
- Stay up to speed with your client’s business model, strategy, and market performance, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Interpret data (market data, competitive data, proprietary data, and client-supplied data) to create a clear view on status and performance.
- Advocate for your clients within the bank; liaise with other departments to resolve issues, implement changes, and integrate technology.
- Work with legal counsel to draft contracts that are up for renewal, and amendments to existing contracts.
- Develop and nurture the Cross River relationship at multiple levels, including senior management.
- Perform weekly/monthly review as well as quarterly business review (QBR).
- Review accounts to ensure AML/BSA regulations are being observed.
- Perform periodic visits to deepen relationships and engage in strategic planning.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience managing high-profile relationships in the fintech industry, ideally with knowledge of payments, card issuing and banking services.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to key fintech components inclusive of pricing, payment networks, latest technologies, leading global players, emerging trends, and regulatory nuance.
- Knowledge of BIN Sponsorship and Banking as a Service programs.
- Understanding of how Cross River can deliver best-in-class solutions to grow its financial solutions offering.
- Willingness to travel.

Salary Range: $145,000.00 - $175,000.00
