Chief Experience Officer (Service Chief) - Psychologist

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , which offers student loan repayment assistance. The award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services after review of the EDRP application. Only current VHA employees are eligible to apply.
Duties
THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT VHA EMPLOYEES .
- Provide administrative leadership, including oversight of programs related to Veteran and employee experience, culture, and organizational well-being.
- Develop and implement strategies and programs to enhance organizational culture, staff morale, and Veteran and employee satisfaction.
- Lead and coordinate initiatives related to mental health, peer support, and mental health stigma reduction.
- Assess organizational climate, monitor outcomes, and implement data-driven quality improvements.
- Participate in clinical activities, maintaining a 20% clinical workload, including assessment, consultation, and training.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Telework is not available. This is not a virtual position.
Qualifications
Must possess a doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program, be licensed to practice psychology in the U.S., and have at least three years of experience as a professional psychologist, including one year at the GS-13 level or higher. Demonstrated leadership, program management, and organizational skills are required.
