Job Title: Head of Quality

Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 base salary + equity

Their solution that utilizes predictive analytics, physics-informed machine learning, and their patented technology captures rich electrica, thermal and spectroscopic insight that enables manufacturers to detect microscopic defects and optimize processes with unparalleled precision.

The Opportunity:

This role sits at the core of product validation and system reliability. You’ll lead from the front—personally operating systems, executing tests, and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate brings deep technical fluency, a bias toward action, and a track record of implementing quality processes that scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate metrology systems and lead hands-on validation in industrial settings
• Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) protocols across hardware/software platforms
• Create scalable, phase-appropriate quality workflows and test plans
• Drive issue tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to bake in quality from day one
• Interface with suppliers and contract manufacturers to define and enforce quality requirements
• Support manufacturing system analysis and ensure tool performance meets industry expectations
• Occasionally travel (<10%) to partner, supplier, or customer sites as needed

What You Bring:

• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in quality, validation, or systems testing roles
• Deep familiarity with industrial environments and real-world tool operation
• Experience developing and executing validation protocols for hardware & software systems
• Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional settings and fast-paced environments
• A self-starter mentality with attention to detail and a passion for precision
• Valid passport and willingness to travel occasionally

• Industry background in semiconductors, batteries, aerospace, or high-reliability manufacturing
