As a professional in Financial Lines at The Hartford, your primary role will involve underwriting and pursuing new business, servicing brokerage partners on an account basis. The Senior Underwriter/Executive Underwriter will be a key member of Hartford’s Financial Lines regional team, reporting to an underwriting director. The team focuses on management and professional liability products for financial institutions, including directors & officers liability, errors & omissions, fiduciary, and employment practices liability.

Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
3+ years of management liability underwriting experience for Senior Underwriter; financial institutions experience preferred.
5+ years for Executive Underwriter; financial institutions experience preferred.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
Self-motivated with sales and marketing skills in field settings.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
High energy, resilience, entrepreneurial spirit.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Location:
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring presence in one of the listed offices (Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; Brea, CA; San Francisco, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; Greenwood Village, CO; Frisco, TX; Bloomington, MN) three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).
Compensation:
The annual base pay range is based on market analysis and may vary depending on experience and performance. The range is $101,200 - $192,000. Total compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs.
