Job Description
Pico Rivera Child/TAY FSP Full Service Partnership program provides intensive services to children, adolescents, and young adults from birth to 24 years of age who have severe and persistent mental illness and are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Medi-Cal and indigent clients are served by a multidisciplinary team through individual and family therapy, case management, medication management, housing, education, employment, and substance abuse services.
SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of the administration and clinical operations of one or more mental health programs, including developing and adhering to the annual budget. Responsibilities include hiring, developing, and managing staff, and ensuring mental health treatment services comply with policies, procedures, and regulations.
PAY: $90,000 - 110,000/ Year
EDUCATION/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Ph.D., Psy.D.) with the ability to practice independently; two years of licensure preferred for supervision roles.
- Proof of valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance, and education credentials. Prior behavioral health experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Deliver professional mental health services and manage program operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and develop plans to meet productivity and profitability goals.
- Oversee quality assurance, compliance, and chart audits.
- Supervise clinical staff and oversee documentation standards.
- Manage recruitment, staff development, performance reviews, and personnel actions.
- Develop and monitor the program’s budget and financial reports.
- Lead planning, management, and staff meetings; coordinate with other departments and vendors.
- Optionally carry a caseload providing mental health and case management services.
- Ensure licensure and certifications are maintained.
- Promote services and training in the community, and develop relationships with officials.
- Participate in community meetings and represent the agency professionally.
- Ensure program compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
- Consult on treatment plans and participate in crisis intervention when needed.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
- Complete reports timely and ensure HIPAA and ethical standards are upheld.
- Support the company’s mission, vision, and values.
- Perform other duties as needed.
