Head of Product - AI/LLM-Driven Legal Tech
Location: Remote (US-based)
We're working with a fast-moving, venture-backed legaltech startup that is transforming how high-value litigation is sourced, evaluated, and executed. The team is using LLMs, proprietary data, and AI-native workflows to uncover and pursue billion-dollar legal opportunities at scale.
This is a product-first environment. You'll join a small, mission-driven team made up of top-tier engineers and AI talent, and work directly with the founding team to build AI-powered tools that automate and augment critical legal workflows.
If you're deeply technical, fluent in LLM development, and passionate about rapid product experimentation, this is a rare opportunity to build something that matters from the ground up.
What You'll Do:

• Translate high-level product vision into actionable, MVP-sized specs and rapid experiments
• Own the product roadmap and maintain strong focus on velocity and impact
• Partner closely with engineering to scope, ship, and iterate on features
• Spin up LLM prototypes and proofs of concept to test ideas quickly
• Explore the AI ecosystem to identify and integrate high-leverage tooling
• Interface directly with customers to understand pain points, test assumptions, and gather feedback
• Define success metrics, evaluate product performance, and adjust priorities based on insights
  

What We're Looking For:

• 6 or more years building and shipping technical products in startup or growth-stage environments
• Experience as a founder or early employee at a fast-paced company; comfortable wearing multiple hats across product, analysis, and hands-on work
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI frameworks, including agents, prompt orchestration, or fine-tuning
• Strong product instincts and a track record of launching practical tools or systems
• Technical fluency; able to engage with engineers on data models, architecture, and tradeoffs
• A bias toward action and rapid iteration through prototypes and direct testing
• Excellent written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High ownership and urgency to identify problems and drive solutions forward
