We are seeking an innovative and talented Senior Systems Engineer to provide engineering support for the Mission Protection Team. This high-performance team is closely integrated with customers and contractors. This team operates at the center of critical US government functions enabling the nation to meet its national security plan and strategic goals. The candidate must have the ability to be a technically minded problem-solver, be able to focus on the task at hand, follow through on the prescribed plan, and the ability to be flexible and think under pressure. Location: Aurora, Colorado
What You Will Do
- Provide Mission Protection support to enterprise projects as well as to other programs as directed by the customer.
- Maintain situational awareness on evolving threats and new technologies to build and design associated Courses of Action.
- Provide technical input, analysis, presentations and training.
- Keep customer and leadership apprised of activities, deliverables, problems and opportunities.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience with mission protection/operations.
- Experience in analyzing and evaluating data and events to recommend courses of action.
- Experienced in verbal and written communication with senior leadership, customers, and contractor teams on complex issues.
- An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
