Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll and Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and payroll budgeting. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of payroll and accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
- Develop and manage payroll budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare and process payroll reports and statements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on payroll data analysis.
- Assist with financial planning and forecasting related to payroll expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and accounting management.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
