We are working with a client who are seeking a Vice President of Business Development - Department of Defense (DoD) to lead their strategic growth initiatives across the defense and national security space. This is a high-impact role focused on advancing their mission-critical capabilities in geospatial intelligence, satellite imagery, and advanced Earth observation solutions.
What You'll Do :
Drive the defense growth strategy by identifying and capturing new business opportunities across the DoD enterprise.
Lead major pursuits from capture to award, developing and executing multi-year pipeline and account strategies.
Cultivate deep relationships with DoD stakeholders and key integrators to align mission needs with their offerings.
Collaborate across engineering, product, and delivery teams to shape differentiated solutions in ISR, GEOINT, and rapid revisit imagery.
Represent the company at defense forums, industry conferences, and classified briefings.
Required Qualifications :
15+ years of experience in DoD business development, capture management, or strategy in aerospace, defense, or ISR.
Proven success in closing $100M+ defense contracts and shaping multi-agency growth portfolios.
Strong familiarity with DoD procurement and acquisitions
Active Top Secret / SCI clearance.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
