What will your job look like?
The Director, AI Product Management plays a key strategic role within the organization and is accountable for the oversight and strategic alignment of AI initiatives. Responsible for guiding the development, launch, and continuous improvement of AI-powered products or features. As a key leader, the Director will coach and mentor teams to understand industry needs, AI advancements, seek better outcomes, and deliver innovative value to stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
- Provide strategic alignment and coordination of the product portfolio.
- Work closely with executive leadership to educate on the product lifecycle and align with business needs.
- Hold leaders accountable for the defined processes.
- Promote and deliver an effective AI roadmap aligned with strategic goals across the organization.
- Understand value targeting and objective setting for strategic goals.
- Provide coaching and guidance for product and service owners.
- Ensure cohesive AI capabilities across products with consistent user experiences.
- Coordinate AI models/vendors to maximize ROI and reduce redundancy.
- Define the vision for the product organization.
- Lead ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative AI products.
- Define product roadmaps and schedules with technical and business teams.
- Regularly report on measurements and outcomes.
- Oversee product development, ensuring compliance with budgets, scope, and timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high standards.
- Develop and implement AI-specific product strategies.
- Create and maintain proper product documentation.
- Drive excellent customer experience for the MTM product suite.
- Translate AI capabilities into user-friendly solutions.
- Participate in research to provide leadership insights.
- Promote AI literacy across the company.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and designers.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Represent product management in leadership negotiations.
- Create frameworks for sharing AI best practices, learnings, and risks.
- Ensure ethical AI practices, addressing data privacy, bias, and transparency.
- Monitor team output to ensure value-driven results.
- Meet with and mentor direct reports monthly, providing feedback and development opportunities.
- Set and manage performance goals and KPIs for the team.
What you’ll need: Experience, Education & Certifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience with machine learning and AI algorithms.
- Minimum of 6 years managing AI solutions in clinical and operational settings.
- Experience handling sensitive/confidential information.
Skills:
- Deep knowledge of AI and ML intricacies.
- Understanding of data collection, modeling, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Ability to network and grow industry relationships.
- Proven track record of innovation and product delivery.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Leadership and mentorship skills for multiple teams.
- Financial acumen related to P&L and business impacts.
- Business acumen for vetting business cases.
- Effective communication with executive audiences.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Customer focus, accountability, teamwork, and decisiveness.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $210,000. This reflects the base pay range, which varies by location and individual experience. We encourage qualified candidates to apply and discuss their fit during the process.
