Responsibilities:

• Represent emerging growth companies and institutional investors in venture capital financings
• Advise on M&A transactions and corporate matters for emerging growth companies
• Draft and negotiate corporate documents such as investment agreements and governance documents
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to manage transactions and deliver solutions

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice in California
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in venture capital, emerging growth, and M&A
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, business judgment
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment
• Proven problem-solving and influencing skills
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients and colleagues
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines
• Maintain positive relationships and compliance with firm policies
• Manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally ranked law school
