Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sr. Manager, Brand & Commercial Strategy to support the development and execution of global brand and commercial strategies. This role reports into the Senior Director of Levi’s strategy and will work closely with Levi’s Leadership to drive the integrated Levi’s vision and strategy. The ideal candidate will bring experience in strategy development, cross-functional collaboration, and strong financial acumen. They will be responsible for working across key functions, regions and channels to activate strategies that support Levi’s objectives, brand growth, and profitability. You will report into the Senior Director of Levi’s Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop long-term strategic business plan for global brand and commercial strategies in partnership with senior leadership across Commercial, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations
- Lead strategic development for company priorities, identifying levels for growth and strategic implications including financials, resourcing, and expected brand/consumer impact. Examples strategies include strategic pricing, channel growth and profitability plans, product/category expansion, and brand positioning
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to drive alignment of brand and commercial strategies across channels (retail, ecommerce, and wholesale).
- Manage cross-functional projects for our most critical strategic priorities to activate strategic plans in the market. Lead cross-functional task force and project management efforts, establishing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring project completion on time and within scope.
- Lead on-going executive business reporting
- Manage ad hoc analysis and requests to deliver on business objectives. Partner with Marketplace Insights and Finance to leverage analysis of market dynamics, competition, and company performance to inform and influence key strategic decisions
- Deliver financial analysis to assess revenue and profitability impacts of strategic actions
- Support leadership on high-stakes presentations to drive executive and wider-company alignment on vision and strategy
- Drive the execution of global brand and commercial strategies to achieve Levi’s objectives.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to deliver brand growth and financial performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams to successfully implement strategies and achieve key milestones.
- Provide comprehensive market, competitor, and consumer insights to guide decision-making.
- Own business reporting for executives that enables quick executive decision making
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of experience consulting or business strategy role advising senior management
- Experience developing and driving large-scale, company-wide strategies particularly in retail, ecommerce, or consumer goods industries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead global projects.
- Experience working in a global environment, with knowledge of key regions (Asia, Europe, and Latin America) preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with executive presence and ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and understanding of P&L levers.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to synthesize data and insights to create clear, actionable strategies.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to meet new requirements in a dynamic environment
- Highly motivated, self-starter
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
