Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for an Aerospace Machining Director to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking an Aerospace Machining Director to oversee all machining operations, lead a team to produce high-complexity, tight-tolerance parts for aerospace applications.
The selected Director will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas:

Develop and implement machining strategies.
Ensure production adherence to schedules, costs, quality, and safety.
Provide technical leadership for new product development and guiding programs from concept through qualification, testing, and into full-rate production.
Lead and coordinate engineering efforts across the organization. Influence engineering teams to apply best practices and technical standards.
Perform other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of ten years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
At least five years of supervising experience.
Writing and communication skills with experience contributing to and/or making technical presentations to internal and external customers.

CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE:

U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance required. Active clearance preferred.
