Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. What You’d Be Doing In This Role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
As the Head of Global Content Partnerships, you will evolve and elevate Canva’s content partnerships program, positioning it as an in-demand partner for the world’s largest brands. This senior leader will develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that drives content innovation, branded content, and AI initiatives, ensuring Canva’s long-term growth and success. You will own the entire partnership lifecycle from prospecting to ongoing partner engagement and maximise the ROI of our content partnerships by negotiating favourable terms and unlocking new revenue opportunities. This role also requires building and leading a high-performing partnerships team to bring this ambitious vision to life.
At The Moment, This Role Is Focused On
- Evolving Canva’s global content partnerships into a best-in-class program, making us a partner of choice for the world’s most iconic brands
- Developing and executing a long-term growth strategy focused on branded content, AI-driven innovation, and ecosystem expansion
- Building and deepening strategic relationships with current and future partners, and enhancing onboarding and engagement processes
- Establishing scalable engagement models to ensure seamless partner experiences and consistent value delivery
- Maximising the value and impact of partnerships through smart negotiations and performance optimization
- Leading and empowering a high-performing team to execute the vision and push the boundaries of what’s possible
- Collaborating cross-functionally with content, product, marketing, and revenue teams to align partnerships with Canva’s strategic goals
- Staying ahead of industry trends across content, AI, and design to unlock opportunities and keep Canva at the cutting edge
- You’re a strategic partnerships leader with a track record of driving high-impact change in fast-paced environments
- You bring deep experience in structuring bespoke content deals, negotiating win-win outcomes, and maximising ROI
- You’ve built and led high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration
- You excel at designing scalable programs that streamline partner engagement and deliver operational excellence
- You blend commercial acumen with creative problem-solving, using data to inform strategy and unlock growth
- You’re a natural relationship builder who inspires trust, aligns diverse stakeholders, and champions long-term value

At Canva we value fairness, and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation whilst ensuring internal equity within the team in each region. We make hiring decisions based on your skills, experience and our overall assessment of what we observed and learnt in the hiring process. The target salary range for this position is 205k to 312k. When calculating offers, we make salary decisions based on market data and candidates' skills and experience.
