Regional Vice President
Job Description
Summary Reporting directly to the Sr Vice President of Operations, this multi‑unit position provides an opportunity for career growth and is responsible for the overall operation, growth, and profitability of the region.
The role includes planning objectives, ensuring unit directors are in compliance with corporate, regional and financial goals, and supporting key performance indicators and operational excellence (OPEX).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides operational and logistical support for the assigned line of business.
Participates in strategic planning meetings to develop objectives for the assigned region.
Develops and maintains the annual budget and forecasts for the region; monitors financial reports to ensure budgetary compliance.
Recommends and implements policies and procedures to maximize income from existing accounts.
Participates in the sales process for acquisition of new business, coordinates proposals and contracts, and prepares presentations to prospective clients.
Engages in client negotiations and contract renegotiations; coordinates documentation of contract changes.
Manages client relationships through leadership of multiple operations.
Visits units regularly to inspect operations and ensure contract compliance.
Monitors customer, client, and associate satisfaction surveys; conducts audits, surveys, and assessments to ensure policy adherence.
Completes all required reports on time as outlined in corporate policy.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and e‑mail.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises and manages 3 regional directors, 3 system directors, and 13 unit directors, overseeing 13 acute care hospitals and 30+ ambulatory care facilities.

Education And/Or Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, Hospitality Management, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in managing multi‑unit operations in a healthcare setting.
Willingness to travel heavily within the region of coverage.
Experience managing multi‑million dollar volume accounts.
