Private Equity Assistant Controller / Controller

Overview Boutique Private Equity Fund in NYC looking to hire Assistant Controller / Controller.

The role reports to the CFO, will oversee all accounting and finance functions, and support growth initiatives for the firm.

Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Company Mission Staffing Responsibilities Oversee and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage the accounting close process Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting processes, and variance analyses to support management decisions Help maintain, document, and improve internal controls and accounting policies Support management & performance fee calculations and prepare supporting schedules Generate reporting for limited partners and internal stakeholders, including portfolio company performance, capital activity, and other metrics Assist in integrating financial systems or platform improvements, process automation, etc.

Qualifications / Experience Experience in private equity or investment management environments preferred Strong accounting background with consolidation, financial reporting, and controls Ability to work in a collaborative, growth-oriented team Seniority level Director Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing, Finance, and Strategy/Planning Note
