MRI Technologist

SimonMed is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting our mission to provide advanced medical imaging with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

As an MRI Technologist, you will perform a full range of MRI examinations using state-of-the-art scanners in a busy outpatient environment, producing high-quality diagnostic images that support timely and accurate clinical decisions.

You will be responsible for verifying patient identity and medical history, performing thorough MRI safety screening, explaining procedures in a clear and reassuring manner, and ensuring that each patient is positioned comfortably and accurately for optimal image quality.

Working with the latest MRI technology and integrated systems, you will operate scanners, select appropriate protocols, administer contrast when indicated, and monitor patients throughout their exams, promptly recognizing and responding to any signs of distress or adverse reactions.

You will collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, referring providers, and front-office teams, contributing to an efficient workflow that emphasizes empathy, respect, and clear communication.

You will help maintain a safe MRI environment by rigorously following magnet safety and infection-control procedures, adhering to ACR and regulatory standards, and ensuring that equipment and work areas are clean, organized, and well maintained.
