YOUR IMPACT
Goldman Sachs is hiring an Associate on the US events team to support its Private Wealth Management business. This role is part of a highly collaborative and dynamic global events team, focusing on US-based events strategy and execution within the Private Wealth Management Marketing and Client Engagement Team. The Associate will influence and drive the events strategy and execution for Private Wealth Management clients and prospects, partnering with key leaders, advisors, marketing team members, agencies, and vendors to deliver exceptional experiences.
Job Description
As an Associate, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person events for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, aimed at fostering client relationships and acquiring new clients.
- Develop and implement event strategies to attract prospective clients, showcasing Goldman Sachs' value proposition.
- Track event success and analyze the effectiveness of different formats.
- Assist in creating and updating a central calendar of events across divisions and external partners.
- Develop engaging content, including speaker selection and presentation materials.
- Utilize CRM tools like Salesforce to manage event data and generate reports.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Collaborate with PWAs, content teams, and compliance officers to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of arts and cultural events is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Highly organized with excellent follow-through
- Creative thinking and entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel
