Full Time | 8:00am-5:00pm | Monday-Friday
Wage range $172,313.00 - $190,462.15. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (DFPA) directs the financial operations of the assigned region. Ensures fiscal soundness and discipline of the region and each program within it. Provides the Vice President of FP&A and CFO with accurate and timely information to support operational decisions and drives initiatives aligned with the company's strategy. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrate Telecare's mission, values, and beliefs in interactions with stakeholders.
- Partner with operations and corporate leaders to drive financial results. Owns the financial outcomes of the region. Develops financial forecasts and provides updates on key operational and financial issues. Provides financial training to regional staff.
- Collaborate with corporate and regional staff to create strategic and operational plans and budgets.
- Utilize financial analysis to promote efficient resource use while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure staff are informed of contractual obligations, regulations, and standards for compliance.
- Work with development teams on market share opportunities and financial models for new initiatives.
- Lead regional monthly financial reviews and develop action plans for variances.
- Oversee financial functions of regional business offices.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff.
- Supervise regional finance managers, analysts, and business office managers, providing coaching and development.
- Establish and maintain job descriptions and training for staff.
- Review fiscal policies and recommend improvements.
- Ensure dissemination of policy changes within the region.
Position requires driving own vehicle for company business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Five years of finance and budgeting experience, including healthcare, with a degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Strong decision-making, analytical, leadership, communication, and computer skills. Valid driver's license and auto insurance. Ability to travel within the region.
Preferred: Knowledge of social assistance programs, billing, reimbursement, and office procedures.
SKILLS
High computer literacy, analytical skills, leadership, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Occasional standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and driving. Frequent sitting and manual tasks.
