Job Title: In-House Corporate Paralegal

Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Job Description:

A reputable asset management corporation is seeking a paralegal to join its in-house legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with multiple arms of an organization for various corporate and finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have a background in M&A transactions, exceptional communication and technical skills, and the ability to excel in a team setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with M&A transactions.
• Support corporate governance activities.
• Draft and review legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Manage court scheduling and document filing.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal.
• Experience with M&A transactions.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal software and tools.
