High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 2 years of college education in Biology or a related field plus 3 years of laboratory experience; OR4 years college education in a related field plus 1 year of laboratory experience (required) Experience
Hands-on experience with sample handling, accessioning, and processingExperience with quantitative chemical analysis, enzyme assays, or similar proceduresExperience operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentsProficiency with Microsoft Excel (beyond basic data entry) Responsibilities
Receive, accession, process, and prepare clinical specimens for laboratory testing following strict protocolsPerform sample aliquoting, labeling, tracking, storage, and disposalSet up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and automated systemsPrepare reagents and manage lab supplies and equipment inventoryConduct and document quality control measures, including environmental and equipment checksMaintain accurate records and update laboratory databases and tracking systemsIdentify discrepancies in specimen data and take corrective actions as neededSupport laboratory operations, including ordering supplies, stocking, and general lab maintenanceAdhere strictly to laboratory safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory compliance requirementsEnsure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive patient and research dataAssist in training staff and improving workflows as needed About Us
