SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC is seeking a reliable and compassionate FT LPN Days MO 7527 to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing essential nursing care within a correctional facility.

As a key member of our on-site clinical staff, you will deliver hands-on medical services to an incarcerated population, helping to maintain a safe, healthy environment while supporting the mission of the facility and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.In this full-time, day-shift role, you will perform routine and urgent nursing care, including patient intake and assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and chronic disease management.

You will conduct sick call and triage, respond to medical emergencies, and implement established care plans under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.

Accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records, adherence to infection control practices, and strict medication handling and counting procedures are core components of your daily responsibilities.Working within the correctional setting, you will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, mental health professionals, dental providers, custody staff, and fellow nurses to coordinate care that supports both patient well-being and facility security.

You will communicate clearly with security personnel to ensure safe movement of patients, follow all facility protocols, and contribute to a calm, respectful atmosphere that supports de-escalation and reduces risk.
