Driver, Linehaul

As a Linehaul Driver in Sysco’s Transportation & Logistics department, you will play a critical role in connecting our Food & Beverage Operations network by safely transporting palletized food and related products between Sysco facilities, cross-docks, and key customer locations on scheduled overnight and regional routes.

Operating Class A tractor-trailers, you will conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure and verify loads, and adhere to all DOT, state, and company safety regulations while maintaining accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation.In this position, you will manage linehaul schedules that prioritize on-time departures and arrivals, coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and routing teams, and help ensure product integrity through proper handling, temperature control, and timely transit.

You will routinely back into tight docks, maneuver in busy yards, and follow best practices for fuel-efficient driving, cargo security, and defensive driving techniques.Sysco is a global leader in selling, marketing, and distributing food products to restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, and hospitality businesses, and our drivers are the face of our reliability and service.
