Med Surg RN (Registered Nurse) in Rock Island, IL

Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate and skilled Med Surg RN (Registered Nurse) for an assignment in Rock Island, IL within the Healthcare & Medical Services department.

As a key member of the medical-surgical care team, you will provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Using sound clinical judgment, you will recognize changes in patient status, escalate concerns appropriately, and respond promptly to emergent situations.

Accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is an essential part of the position, along with clear communication during handoffs and interdisciplinary rounds.The Med Surg RN will educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions, promoting understanding, safety, and adherence to care plans after hospitalization.

You will prioritize multiple patient needs throughout your shift, utilizing strong time-management and organization skills to deliver safe and efficient care.
