What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plans to enhance brand identity
- Create marketing and public relations strategies to cultivate relationships with media and key influencers
- Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions
- Oversee daily communications activities, including budgeting, planning, and staff development
- Manage, mentor, and develop a communications team to support the execution of the communications strategy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role, either in-house or with an agency
- Demonstrated skill in building relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
- Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online communications media
- Proven leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications and media relations program
