Responsibilities: - Provides direct health care to patients, ages 16 and up, presenting for care. - Provides or directly oversees gynecology services - Provides or directly oversees prenatal services for low and high-risk pregnant patients. - Participate in Medical Staff Meetings and on Optimus committees. - Pursue continuing medical education opportunities to update medical knowledge and assure quality patient care. - Work with Teams, Outreach Workers and with other Department's staff to facilitate efforts in providing quality patient care. Required: - Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School. - Documented completion of a Residency from an accredited institution specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology. - Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. - Board Eligible accepted for new graduates - Current Connecticut licensure
