SojouRN is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Chicago, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Transport Respiratory Care Practitioner (ground and flight experience needed) Department Name: Transport Team 12 weeks 36 hours/week Days Needed/weekend requirement: Night shift/Every 3rd weekend Certifications needed: NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS Experience required: 3 years minimum PICU, NICU, ED and Neo/PEDS critical care transport exp. The team does not bring an APN or fellow to manage the airway - the RRTs intubate here. Ground and air transport (helicopter and fixed wing). Looking for someone who can orient for 1 week and be ready and has a strong transport background (comes from an RN/RT transport program) Equipment Used: Portable transport ventilators, Hamilton TXP, crossvent, Zoll monitor, Voyager and NxtGen isolette, stretcher, iNO Computer/EMR: EPIC Anticipated orientation length: 3 shifts SojouRN Job ID 6IL.
