The facility is a licensed 815-bed hospital recognized for high clinical quality. It has received accolades for providing safer healthcare and achieved prestigious nursing excellence standards. The facility serves as a referral center for the only Level II trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. It is known for its busy robotic surgery and open heart programs. The unit is a 38-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit. Staffed by RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and a unit secretary, with a charge nurse on each shift. Patient ratios are typically 6:1, with night stretch ratios of 7:1. Employees utilize various medical equipment and an electronic medical record system. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist others. Required certifications include BLS. Weekends are required every other weekend or six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule. Travelers are expected to float before permanent staff. Dress code includes navy or white scrubs and specific attire guidelines.
