Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: Permanent Shift: 12-hour day shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Medical-Surgical nursing with critical thinking skills License: Active state RN license Certifications: Heart Saver AED Certification, BLS Certification (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with EPIC charting Description: Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Utilizes standards of nursing practice in the provision of care. Equipped with necessary skills to handle various medical-surgical procedures and patient needs. Works within a supportive environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Participates in continuous education and training to enhance nursing competencies. Completes medication testing as required within the initial weeks of employment. Adheres to established nursing standards and protocols while ensuring patient safety. Maintains professional demeanor and conducts self in a manner that reflects the values of the organization. Dress code consists of scrubs provided by the facility. Additional specific training in utilized equipment and charting systems is provided.
