Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This position involves caring for patients of all age groups. The Emergency Department has 12 beds with additional areas for fast track patients. Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on staffing. The shift schedule may include rotating weekends. There are no call requirements for this position. The ideal candidate should have experience with chest tubes and critical drips. The Emergency Department is equipped to care for patients on ventilators, BiPAP, and central and arterial lines. The electronic health record system is Meditech. Teamwork is essential in this role. Candidates must adhere to the dress code, which includes wearing blue scrubs, sweatshirts, or tee shirts with scrub pants. Unacceptable attire includes anything with offensive language or political statements.
