All candidates must complete required screenings prior to starting. Candidates should be prepared for every other weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in intermediate cardiac care. Common diagnoses treated include Acute Myocardial Infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Congestive Heart Failure. The nurse will be responsible for bedside and telemetry monitoring. They will also manage IV infusions and arterial lines. The unit serves a diverse patient population of all ages.
