Job Description As a Float Pool Nurse for our Medical Surgical and Telemetry Units at Saint Luke's East, you will provide coverage for various units including; Med/Surg, PCU, Med Tele, CVRU and Medical Intermediate. You will have the opportunity to care for patients with various medical conditions, treatment plans, and acuity levels. Responsibilities: Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures. This team supports our Saint Luke's East location only in Lee's Summit, MO.
