Gastroenterologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Seattle, Washington

A facility is looking for a locum tenens Gastroenterologist to assist with coverage starting ASAP. Candidates must be Board Certified. An active WA license or IMLC is required. Approximately 90 days to credential. In Seattle, Washington, visitors can embark on a culinary adventure in the vibrant Pike Place Market, sampling fresh seafood and artisanal treats. They can also marvel at the iconic Space Needle and enjoy panoramic views of the city from its observation deck. This opportunity involves a mix of clinic, procedure, and hospital responsibilities focused on general GI cases. In the clinic, providers see 1214 patients per day, with 60-minute appointments for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups, scheduled from 8am to 5pm with support from at least one RN or MA. On procedure days, also 8am to 5pm, the provider performs 1214 procedures daily with anesthesia support and assistance from one nurse and one tech. Hospital coverage runs Monday 7am to the following Monday 7am, with call required two weeks per month. Hospital duties include rounding and handling 610 consults per day, with full anesthesia support provided.
