We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage in Fallon, NV. This is a unique opportunity to practice full-scope orthopedic surgery in a rural community setting with the support of an established surgical team and a predictable monthly schedule. Join a well-established orthopedic team Balanced case mix of elective and acute orthopedic procedures Predictable 15-shift/month schedule allows for work-life balance Rural medicine with impact – serve a vital community need Opportunity to help grow and lead a high-quality orthopedic surgery program Hospital Details: · 25-bed critical access hospital · 4-bed Medical ICU · On-site MRI and imaging services · Annual ED volume: ~17,734 visits · Outpatient visits: ~81,000 annually · Clinic: Elective orthopedics, follow-ups, and outpatient consults · Surgical Mix: Approximately 150 acute and 150 elective cases in year one (target volume = 300 cases/year) · General orthopedics with a mix of fracture care, joint work, and sports-related injuries Qualifications: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain Strong clinical experience in both acute and elective orthopedic cases Comfortable practicing in a rural or community hospital setting Fallon offers the charm and warmth of a small town with access to outdoor adventures, wide open spaces, and beautiful mountain views.
