Physician (MD/DO)

We are seeking a locums physician in Atlanta, GA to provide supervision and light clinical oversight for a team of digitally-based Nurse Practitioners. This opportunity is ideal for experienced physicians looking for flexible, non-traditional clinical work—perfect for those easing back into medicine or looking for supplemental income. Compensation: $140.00 Per Hour Work Schedule & Flexibility Minimum : 8 hours/week in-person (can be split across days) Maximum : 16 hours/week Weekdays only (Monday–Friday) Hybrid model : Majority of care delivered digitally, with optional clinic expansion No on-call duties required Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care: Virtual care via telehealth (digital shifts, in-office setting) In-person/in-clinic visits as needed Perform basic clinical tasks (with training provided): EKGs, strep tests, flu swabs Blood draws not required (outsourced to Quest Diagnostics), but preferred Supervise Nurse Practitioners to ensure legal compliance: Collaborate on patient charts Conduct 30-minute quarterly chart reviews (charts pre-selected) Requirements: Active GA Medical License Board Certification (MD or DO) Experience with telehealth and NP supervision preferred Willingness to perform minimal in-person clinical tasks Excellent chart review and documentation skills Atlanta, Georgia’s capital and largest city, is a thriving metro hub known for its diverse culture, dynamic food scene, and vibrant healthcare ecosystem.
