In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers: · · Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus flexible-spending and health- savings accounts · Competitive paid time off for full-time employees · Income-protection programs, such as life, accident, critical-injury insurance, short- and long-term disability, and identity theft coverage · Tuition reimbursement, loan assistance, and 401(k) matching · Employee assistance program including mental, physical, and financial wellness · Professional development and growth opportunities Job Summary: Registered Nurse (RN) Overview Position Summary: · Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Surgery · Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. · Documents patient care given. · Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. · Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. · Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. · Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. · Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. · Performs patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in other nursing units as necessary. Qualifications: Applicants should have a current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing. Required Certifications · BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire · ACLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 months of employment, if not current upon hire Minimum Work Experience: 6 months of RN Surgery experience - preferred
